Resale
Reselling your ticket
Humanitix is the approved resale provider for CORE Melbourne. All resale and ticket name changes must be actioned through your Humanitix order. We cannot confirm the validity of any ticket exchanged outside of Humanitix resale.
If your ticket does not show the name that matches your legal ID at the gate, then for safety and security reasons your ticket may be deemed invalid and you may not be allowed entry. Do not exchange money for tickets anywhere else — they will not be valid under your name.
Only the person who bought the tickets can request a resale. If your tickets were purchased for you, please contact that buyer directly.
How to resell
Resale availability is announced closer to the event date — stay updated via the official social media channels and website.
- Search for your order confirmation email from Humanitix.
- Click the Manage order button.
- Select the Resale tab and choose Sell tickets.
- Select all ticket(s) you wish to resell.
- Choose the resale type:
- Public — automatically offered to buyers on the public waitlist.
- Private — sold only via a unique link you copy and share.
While you can list all tickets for resale, they can only be resold individually.
Name change
Changing a name on a ticket
Name changes must also be actioned via Humanitix Resale, using the Manage order button on your Humanitix order confirmation email. You can resell your ticket to another person via a private link — your original order will be refunded.
- Search for your order confirmation email from Humanitix.
- Click the Manage order button.
- Select the Resale tab and choose Sell tickets.
- Select the ticket you want to change the name of.
- List the ticket via private link and share the unique link with the other person.
- They use the link to purchase the ticket and enter their details.
Resale FAQs
Common resale questions
- Tickets are always sold at the price you paid for them.
- Tickets cannot be sold for less or more than you paid.
- Booking fees are non-refundable.
Why can't I list my ticket for resale?+
Only the person who bought the tickets can request a resale. If your tickets were purchased for you, please contact that buyer directly.
I listed my ticket for public resale by accident — now I can't access it. What happened?+
If you list a ticket for public resale it is automatically offered to buyers on the public waitlist and can be purchased immediately. If you no longer have access to the ticket and received a "refund confirmation" email from Humanitix, your ticket has been successfully resold. You will be refunded.
If I resell my ticket, when will I be refunded?+
Once your ticket has been resold, you will receive your refund within 2–5 business days from the point of resale. Funds are returned to your original payment method.
I sent the private resale link to a friend — it says 'no longer available' and shows 'pending'. What now?+
When someone starts buying the ticket the system holds it until the purchase is complete or the checkout time expires — this prevents the same ticket being sold twice. Ask your friend to try again once checkout has expired.
If you have never shared the private link and the status shows 'pending', you likely tested the link yourself, which also holds the ticket. Wait about 20 minutes and try again.

To get inside, you need to be 18+, have a valid ticket, and present valid photo ID. Once you leave, you're out — there's strictly no re-entry.

If you see a person showing any signs of distress — nausea, vomiting, headaches, confusion, blurred vision, racing heartbeat, shallow breathing, muscle tremors, inability to talk, or discoloured lips — or who has expressed to you that they are not feeling well, contact a security guard, police officer, fire rescue personnel or CORE Melbourne staff member for medical assistance immediately.
