Tomorrowland presents CORE Melbourne — General Ticket Terms and Conditions.

Important notice

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before purchasing a Ticket. By completing your ticket purchase, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not proceed with your purchase.

Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes, or modifies any right or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (“ACL”) or any other applicable statute that cannot lawfully be excluded or modified by agreement.

Part A

Definitions and Interpretation

Clause 1

Definitions

In these Terms, unless the context otherwise requires:

“ACL” means the Australian Consumer Law as set out in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as applied in Victoria by the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act 2012 (Vic).

“Authorised Ticket Platform” means the official online ticketing platform designated by the Organiser for the sale of Tickets to the Event.

“Conditions of Entry” means the conditions governing admission to and attendance at the Event, as published on the Event Website and updated from time to time.

“Event” means Tomorrowland presents CORE Melbourne, a one-day electronic music festival to be held on Saturday, 28 November 2026 at Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, including all stages, performances, programming, and associated activations.

“Event Website” means the official website for the Event, accessible at core.world and/or such other URL as the Organiser designates.

“Force Majeure Event” means any circumstance beyond the Organiser’s reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, fire, flood, earthquake, storm, natural disaster, epidemic, pandemic, riot, civil unrest, terrorism, act of war, industrial action, power failure, failure of third-party infrastructure, or any direction, prohibition, or restriction issued by a government authority or emergency services.

“ID” means a valid, current, government-issued photo identification document, including a passport, Australian driver’s licence, or proof-of-age card.

“Organiser” means the entity or entities responsible for presenting and operating the Event, being Tomorrowland N.V. and its authorised Australian partners, Framed Agency and Collective Minds Australia.

“Prohibited Items” means items prohibited from being brought into the Venue, as specified in the Conditions of Entry.

“Purchaser” means the individual who completes the ticket transaction via the Authorised Ticket Platform.

“Terms” means these General Ticket Terms and Conditions, as amended from time to time.

“Ticket” means any ticket, wristband, pass, e-ticket, or access credential issued by the Organiser or its authorised agents entitling the holder to attend the Event.

“Ticket Holder” means any person who presents a valid Ticket for admission to the Event.

“Venue” means Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, and all areas designated as part of the Event footprint.

Clause 2

Interpretation

  • (a)A reference to a statute includes all regulations, amendments, and instruments made under it.
  • (b)The singular includes the plural and vice versa.
  • (c)Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
  • (d)These Terms must be read together with the Organiser’s Ticket Purchase and Refund Policy, the Conditions of Entry, and the Privacy Policy, each of which form part of the agreement between you and the Organiser.

Part B

Ticket Purchase and Eligibility

Clause 3

Age Restriction — 18+ Event

The Event is strictly an 18 years of age or over event. By purchasing a Ticket, you warrant that:

  • (a)you are 18 years of age or older at the date of the Event (28 November 2026); and
  • (b)all persons for whom you are purchasing Tickets are 18 years of age or older at the date of the Event.

Valid photo ID will be required upon entry. Any person who cannot produce valid ID proving they are 18 years of age or older will be refused entry without refund. The Organiser reserves the right to conduct ID checks at any point within the Venue.

Clause 4

Purchase of Tickets

  • (a)Tickets may only be purchased through the Authorised Ticket Platform. The Organiser accepts no responsibility for Tickets purchased through unauthorised channels.
  • (b)Each ticket purchase is subject to availability and may be subject to per-person or per-transaction purchase limits as specified at the time of sale.
  • (c)Completion of a ticket transaction constitutes acceptance of these Terms and forms a binding contract between you and the Organiser.
  • (d)Ticket prices, booking fees, and applicable service charges will be clearly displayed at the time of purchase. All prices are stated in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable under the A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999 (Cth).
  • (e)The Organiser reserves the right to cancel any ticket order it reasonably suspects has been made fraudulently, in breach of these Terms, or in contravention of any applicable law.

Clause 5

Ticket Allocation and Delivery

  • (a)Tickets will be delivered electronically to the email address provided at the time of purchase.
  • (b)It is your responsibility to ensure that the email address provided at the time of purchase is accurate and accessible.
  • (c)The Organiser accepts no responsibility for Tickets that are not received due to an incorrect email address being provided, spam filtering, or other causes attributable to the Purchaser.
  • (d)Physical Tickets or wristbands, where applicable, will be distributed in the manner specified on the Event Website.

Clause 6

Ticket Validity and Non-Transferability

  • (a)Each Ticket is valid for one (1) person for single entry to the Event on 28 November 2026.
  • (b)Tickets are non-transferable except as expressly permitted in writing by the Organiser or where required by the ACL.
  • (c)The Organiser reserves the right to implement technology (including but not limited to unique barcodes and facial recognition for wristband validation) to detect and invalidate duplicated, transferred, or fraudulent Tickets.
  • (d)Once a Ticket has been scanned for entry to the Event, it will be void and cannot be used for re-entry unless re-entry is expressly permitted under the Conditions of Entry for that Event.
  • (e)The Organiser is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed Tickets. Lost or destroyed Tickets will not be replaced or refunded.

Clause 7

Resale and Secondary Market

  • (a)Resale of Tickets for commercial gain (at a price above face value) is prohibited and may result in cancellation of the Ticket without refund.
  • (b)In Victoria, the Organiser draws your attention to the general consumer protection framework under the ACL that applies to ticket resale conduct. If you acquire a Ticket from an unauthorised reseller, you do so at your own risk. The Organiser will not honour Tickets that are identified as fraudulent or invalidated.
  • (c)Tickets obtained through unauthorised secondary market sellers may be cancelled without notice and without refund.

Part C

Conditions of Entry and Conduct

Clause 8

Right of Admission

  • (a)Entry to the Event is subject to the Ticket Holder’s compliance with these Terms, the Conditions of Entry, and all directions of Organiser staff and security personnel.
  • (b)The Organiser and Venue management reserve the right, exercisable in their absolute discretion, to:
    • (i)refuse admission to any person;
    • (ii)require any person to leave the Venue at any time; and
    • (iii)require any person to submit to a search of their person and belongings as a condition of entry,
    without providing a reason, and without liability for refund, compensation, or damages, except where the ACL otherwise requires.
  • (c)Entry may be refused to any person who:
    • (i)cannot produce valid ID confirming they are 18 years of age or older;
    • (ii)appears to be intoxicated by alcohol or affected by illicit substances;
    • (iii)is in possession of Prohibited Items;
    • (iv)is behaving in a threatening, dangerous, or disorderly manner; or
    • (v)is subject to any applicable banning order or court-imposed restriction.

Clause 9

Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited from being brought into the Venue:

  • (a)Illicit drugs and controlled substances of any kind;
  • (b)Alcohol (other than what is purchased within the Venue);
  • (c)Glass containers of any kind;
  • (d)Weapons of any description, including knives, firearms, and any item that may be used as a weapon;
  • (e)Laser pointers;
  • (f)Professional camera equipment, including detachable lens cameras, video cameras, and recording equipment (unless prior media accreditation has been obtained from the Organiser);
  • (g)Drones and unmanned aerial vehicles;
  • (h)Fireworks, flares, or any pyrotechnic device;
  • (i)Flags or poles exceeding a length of one (1) metre;
  • (j)Umbrellas (collapsible small umbrellas may be permitted at the Organiser’s discretion);
  • (k)Any item that the Organiser or security personnel reasonably determine poses a risk to the safety, security, or enjoyment of others; and
  • (l)Any other item specified in the Conditions of Entry as published on the Event Website.

Prohibited Items will be confiscated and may not be returned. The Organiser accepts no responsibility for confiscated items.

Clause 10

Conduct Requirements

All Ticket Holders must at all times:

  • (a)comply with all reasonable directions given by Organiser staff, security personnel, Victoria Police, or other emergency services;
  • (b)behave in a respectful, lawful, and considerate manner towards other attendees, staff, and performers;
  • (c)not engage in any conduct that is threatening, harassing, intimidating, discriminatory, or violent;
  • (d)not engage in moshing, crowd surfing, or stage rushing unless in designated areas expressly approved for such activity;
  • (e)not obstruct emergency exits, pathways, or evacuation routes;
  • (f)comply with all applicable laws of Victoria and the Commonwealth of Australia; and
  • (g)follow all public health directions that may be in force at the time of the Event.

Any Ticket Holder who fails to comply with these conduct requirements may be removed from the Venue immediately without refund.

Clause 11

Searches and Security

  • (a)Entry to the Venue is conditional upon submission to a security search of your person and belongings.
  • (b)Searches will be conducted by authorised security personnel in accordance with applicable law, including the Private Security Act 2004 (Vic).
  • (c)Refusal to submit to a security search will result in denial of entry without refund.
  • (d)CCTV and other security surveillance will operate throughout the Venue.

Clause 12

Alcohol and Responsible Service

  • (a)The Event is a licensed venue. Alcohol will be sold by licensed vendors in accordance with the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 (Vic).
  • (b)Alcohol will not be served to persons who appear intoxicated, in accordance with the Organiser’s responsible service of alcohol obligations.
  • (c)Alcohol will not be served to persons under 18 years of age. Valid ID may be requested at any point of sale.

Clause 13

Drugs and Harm Reduction

  • (a)The possession, use, or supply of illicit substances is illegal and strictly prohibited at the Event and Venue.
  • (b)The Organiser supports harm reduction initiatives and may operate a harm reduction service at the Event. The presence of such services does not constitute permission or encouragement to possess or use illicit substances.
  • (c)Victoria Police and Venue security will enforce applicable drug laws. Persons found in possession of illicit substances may be detained and referred to police.

Part D

Health, Safety and Accessibility

Clause 14

Health and Safety

  • (a)The Organiser has in place a comprehensive health and safety plan for the Event, including first aid services, medical personnel, and emergency response procedures.
  • (b)First aid services will be available at designated locations within the Venue, as specified on the Event map.
  • (c)In the event of a medical emergency, contact the nearest first aid station or Event staff immediately.
  • (d)Ticket Holders attend the Event at their own risk, subject to the Organiser’s non-excludable obligations under the ACL and applicable occupational health and safety legislation.
  • (e)The Venue is an outdoor event space. Ticket Holders should be prepared for variable weather conditions and are encouraged to bring sunscreen, appropriate clothing, and adequate hydration. The Organiser accepts no liability for illness or injury arising from weather conditions, subject to the Organiser’s non-excludable obligations under applicable law.

Clause 15

Accessibility

  • (a)The Organiser is committed to providing an accessible experience for all attendees, including persons with disabilities, in accordance with the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth) and the Equal Opportunity Act 2010 (Vic).
  • (b)Designated accessible areas, facilities, and services will be available at the Event. Details will be published on the Event Website prior to the Event.
  • (c)Ticket Holders with accessibility requirements are encouraged to contact the Organiser in advance of the Event to discuss their needs. Companion Card holders may be eligible for a complimentary companion ticket, subject to availability and verification.
  • (d)The Organiser will use reasonable endeavours to accommodate the needs of Ticket Holders with disabilities, subject to the operational constraints of the Venue and Event.

Part E

Intellectual Property and Recording

Clause 16

Photography, Recording and Intellectual Property

  • (a)By attending the Event, you acknowledge and agree that the Organiser may capture images, video, and audio recordings of the Event, including images or footage in which you may appear. Such recordings may be used by the Organiser for any purpose, including promotional, marketing, and commercial purposes, without further consent or compensation.
  • (b)Personal, non-commercial photography using mobile phones and compact cameras is permitted at the Event, subject to any restrictions imposed by individual performers.
  • (c)Professional photography, videography, or audio recording (including the use of detachable lens cameras, video cameras, or other professional equipment) is prohibited without prior written accreditation from the Organiser.
  • (d)Ticket Holders must not record, broadcast, transmit, or otherwise distribute any performance, audiovisual content, or other material from the Event for commercial purposes without the prior written consent of the Organiser and the relevant rights holders.
  • (e)All intellectual property rights in the Event, including all artistic works, stage design, branding, and programming, are owned by or licensed to the Organiser or Tomorrowland N.V. and are protected by the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) and applicable international treaties.

Part F

Liability and Indemnity

Clause 17

Limitation of Liability

  • (a)To the maximum extent permitted by law (including the ACL), the Organiser’s liability to any Ticket Holder in connection with the Event is limited to the face value of the relevant Ticket.
  • (b)Subject to clause 17(a) and the ACL, the Organiser is not liable for:
    • (i)any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special loss or damage;
    • (ii)loss of enjoyment, disappointment, or distress;
    • (iii)loss arising from the cancellation, postponement, or material alteration of the Event due to a Force Majeure Event;
    • (iv)theft, loss, or damage to personal property at the Event or Venue; or
    • (v)any act or omission of a third party, including other attendees, performers, vendors, or service providers.
  • (c)Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any Consumer Guarantee or other right that cannot be excluded under the ACL or any other applicable law.

Clause 18

Consumer Guarantees — Non-Exclusion

The Organiser acknowledges its non-excludable obligations under Part 3-2 of the ACL, including the guarantees that services will be provided with due care and skill (s 60), that they will be reasonably fit for any disclosed purpose (s 61), and that they will be supplied within a reasonable time (s 62). These guarantees cannot be excluded by these Terms or any other agreement.

Clause 19

Your Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organiser, its officers, employees, contractors, and agents against any loss, damage, cost, or liability incurred by the Organiser arising out of or in connection with your breach of these Terms, your breach of any applicable law, or your negligent or intentional misconduct at the Event.

Part G

Event Changes and Cancellation

Clause 20

Programme Changes

The Organiser reserves the right to alter, substitute, cancel, or reschedule any performer, performance time, stage, or programme element without notice. Changes to support acts, set times, or non-headline programming elements do not entitle Ticket Holders to a refund unless such changes constitute a major failure under the ACL.

Clause 21

Event Cancellation, Postponement and Rescheduling

In the event of cancellation, postponement, or rescheduling of the Event, the Organiser’s Ticket Purchase and Refund Policy will apply. Subject to your rights under the ACL:

  • (a)where the Event is cancelled without a rescheduled date, Ticket Holders will be entitled to a refund of the face value of the Ticket (excluding booking and service fees); and
  • (b)where the Event cannot proceed due to a Force Majeure Event, including a government-imposed prohibition on public gatherings, the Organiser will communicate refund or credit options to Ticket Holders as soon as reasonably practicable, consistent with the Organiser’s obligations under the ACL.

Clause 22

Venue and Format Changes

The Organiser reserves the right to alter the Venue or Event format in response to operational, safety, or regulatory requirements. Where any such alteration constitutes a major failure under the ACL, your rights under the ACL will apply.

Part H

General Legal Provisions

Clause 23

Privacy

  • (a)The Organiser collects and handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
  • (b)Personal information collected at the time of ticket purchase and during the Event (including through CCTV) will be used for the purposes of administering the ticket sale, managing Event operations, fulfilling legal obligations, and (where you have consented) sending you marketing communications.
  • (c)The Organiser’s Privacy Policy, available on the Event Website, sets out how your personal information is collected, used, stored, and disclosed.
  • (d)You have the right to access and correct your personal information by contacting the Organiser as specified in the Privacy Policy.

Clause 24

Liquor Licensing

The Event is conducted under a liquor licence issued in accordance with the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 (Vic). Liquor will be served responsibly, in accordance with applicable licensing conditions. Breach of licensing conditions may result in suspension of liquor service at the Event.

Clause 25

Compliance with Venue Rules

By attending the Event, you agree to comply with all rules and regulations of Flemington Racecourse as issued by Racing Victoria and the Venue operator, to the extent they apply to the Event.

Clause 26

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • (a)These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia.
  • (b)The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and, for federal matters, the Federal Court of Australia.
  • (c)If you have a complaint or dispute, you are encouraged to contact the Organiser in the first instance via the contact details on the Event Website.
  • (d)If your dispute is not resolved by the Organiser, you may contact:

Clause 27

Unfair Contract Terms

The Organiser acknowledges that unfair terms in standard form consumer contracts are void under Part 2-3 of the ACL. These Terms have been drafted with the intention of compliance with those provisions. If any term of these Terms is held to be void, unenforceable, or illegal, that term will be severed and the remaining Terms will continue in full force and effect.

Clause 28

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Ticket Purchase and Refund Policy, the Conditions of Entry, and the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Organiser with respect to your attendance at the Event, and supersede all prior representations, negotiations, and agreements.

Clause 29

Waiver

A failure by the Organiser to exercise or enforce any right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right and does not prevent the Organiser from exercising that right at a later time.

Clause 30

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without the prior written consent of the Organiser. The Organiser may assign its rights and obligations under these Terms to any successor entity without your consent.

Clause 31

Amendments

The Organiser reserves the right to amend these Terms from time to time. The Terms in effect at the time of your ticket purchase govern your attendance at the Event, subject to any subsequent amendments required by law. Updated Terms will be published on the Event Website.

Part I

Contact Information

For all enquiries relating to Tickets, accessibility requirements, accreditation, or these Terms, please contact the Organiser through the official channels published on the Event Website at core.world.

For lost or damaged Ticket enquiries, please contact the Authorised Ticket Platform directly.

Acknowledgement

By purchasing a Ticket, you confirm that:

  1. 1.you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety;
  2. 2.you are 18 years of age or older, or are purchasing on behalf of persons who are 18 years of age or older at the date of the Event;
  3. 3.you accept that the Conditions of Entry govern your attendance at the Event; and
  4. 4.you acknowledge your statutory rights under the ACL are preserved and unaffected by these Terms.
